The Ex Voto Project

Jill & I have known each other for so long...we will always be close friends! At the beginning of our friendship, I was her boss at a store called Natural Wonders when she lived in California. Over the many years, our kindred appreciation of arts & crafts has been a constant inspiration! We are both probably our happiest when we are operating a hot glue gun in one hand, washing paint from brushes with the other hand, with faces covered in copious amounts of glitter!!! 

Although we lead very different lives nowadays, Iaughter is always a constant when we are together. Oftentimes, people will witness our weird brand of humor, & look at us like we are crazy people...as we laugh hysterically to ourselves in dark corners manufacturing ridiculous & silly inside jokes. That's okay...we pride ourselves in knowing that the only two that get it are...just us! We've witnessed loved ones pass, gone on numerous vacations across the USA together, squished pennies, & have exchanged countless postcard correspondence over the decades...literally HUNDREDS...I CAN PROVE IT!!!

 

I am very honored, excited, & humbled that when I approached Jill to be the very first artist to participate in this project, she accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, vim, & vigor! I knew she would create something beautiful, full of meaning, & a heart that was visually stunning! I am so proud & happy to unveil & share her amazing talent & work with you today!!!
